Suicide Squad

BBFC rating 15
Released August 2016

Being the third film to enter into the D.C. extended universe, and its fair to say a risky take. They've taken a concept that we haven't really seen before in a super hero movie, as well as a lot of characters people haven't heard of, and put them really early in a collection of high grossing films. It has paid off in a way that they have become much more than they were before this film but in another way though, it hasn't. I feel like after Batman v Superman, they needed to come back with a film that met people's expectations, and it hasn't. It was not as good as was hoped for, but by no means am I saying that it was a bad film, its just that the film has lacked something, and because if that it lust the film in another light than it should have been. It is an entertaining movie however, fulfilling that demand for action that most fans were looking for, as well as keeping it with a bit of humour. My main point from this film is that it should have been a lot better than it was.
Contains violence and bad language.
My rating 7.2/10
