Star wars episode III: revenge of the Sith

BBFC rating: 12
Released 2005
Director: George Lucas
The last instalment of the prequel trilogy for Star Wars, and this is probably considered the good one of the three, as there is occasionally something going on that interests us in the plot, whether that is Ewan McGregor fighting a four armed robot on cliffs, to an Emo and a ginger fighting above some lava on floating platforms. However, this film has improved from the last two, as it has cut back on the mindlessly dull talking scenes, and has some good story in it, actually explaining how episode IV came along, and how the Star Wars universe ended up as it was. This does not go to say that the film is without flaws though. Apart from the list of really dumb things to happen in the movie, listed above, it also goes around ruining a lot of other things in the overall plot, like explaining that Vader is in his suit because he had a nightmare, got scared, then couldn't quite jump high enough when it mattered, as well as the obvious reveal that Palpatine is in fact the emperor. But over all the film is enjoyable in certain areas, and is a damn sight better than the other two.
Contains fantasy violence and scenes of threat.
