The Social Network

BBFC rating 12
Released 15th October 2010
Directed by David Fincher
The idea of a biopic of the life and creation of Mark Zuckerberg may have seemed like an uninteresting story to many, but thus original film takes a massive surprise, almost as large as the success of Facebook itself, and pulls and dramatic yet factually accurate docu-drama onto the big screen. The performances from Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield are superb, showing a relationship that is well developed throughout the whole film, as well as good supporting acting  from Justin Timberlake of all people, and makes each of the characters unique and memorable even after the film has finished. And it's not just what the film is delivering to the audience through the actors, I think Aaron Sorkin on screenplay was great, and managed to highlight each person in the development of the site that many people may not know about. It's emotional, its detailed, it doesn't go into moments where you lose focus, in the whole it is a great film about someone who has shaped this generation, and its done well.
Contains sexual references and moderate bad language
