Dc Movie news and project updates. Dc have rolled out a bunch of new projects in the last couple of months after the response from suicide squad and the view on upcoming projects in 2017, so here's an update of what to expect, baring in mind that there are not many release dates for these, and some could be speculated, but most are confirmed. The Batman update Ben Affleck has pulled out of the directing role in this film, and did it quite some time ago, with the backlash over his current film Live bully Night being overshadowed by his next job. Due to this Matt Reeves has stepped into the position, with previous films such as Cloverfield and The planet of the apes films, so the story will probably take a dramatic turn, and leaves us wander what an Affleck take would her brought us. As well as this we have been confirmed the villain of the film, which is Deathstroke played by Joe Manganiellio, and will take a further sense of action to the set-piece. . Image copyright to...

Skyfall

Released 26th October 2012 BBFC rating 12 Directed by Sam Mendes Skyfall was probably one of the most anticipated Bond films to date, having to be better than Quantum of solace, as well keep the promise of going more into James Bonds past. The film starts off very strong, with an opening sequence to start off the film's events as well as delivering a gripping action sequence to keep the audience satisfied, and to keep in line with the previous entries. The movie then goes into a very intense phase, becoming very realistic and making the viewer think more in an action movie. This manages to stay throughout the film, and makes it better than Quantum, delivering more emotion as well as a great villain played by Javier Bardem, and strong returning performances from Dame Judy Dench, and a more sophisticated version of Bond from Daniel Craig. Overall the film is interesting, makes sure that the view knows what is happening when they should and manages to keep them enticed for the ...

Iron Man 3

Released 14th April 2013 BBFC rating 12 Directed by Shane Black After the success of the Avengers, the start of Marvel phase 2 had to bring in one of the original starters to the large universe, and have him updated to become darker and more serious than before. The fact that this has been done is why this film stands out to me, moving away from the jokey side of the universe moving into more serious points, focusing on themes such as terrorism as well as trauma. This is probably the better of the Iron man films, with good action and drama that develops well throughout the whole film, and does well to keep a mainstream audience into the film. The issue surrounding this film comes in the comic fans disappointment. Ben Kinsley does very well as The Mandarin, the issue is what the film does to the character, and leaves us wondering if the film had been better off without this change. As well as that there is not enough Iron man for a film called 'Iron Man'. However Guy P...
