The Dark Knight

Image
Released 2008 BBFC rating 12 From visionary director Christopher nolan comes the undisputed best superhero film EVER. Nolan has done a good job in topping his last film, Batman begins, and has launched superhero films into a new era. Christian Bale returns as the Caped Crusaider and returns to a series that fits this new, modern Batman well. But let's not forget that no film is without its villain, and we've got a good one. Heath Ledger brings a new, intelligent take to the Clown Prince of crime, and makes one of the best performances ever seen, creating an icon for the villain and setting the bar pretty high for Jared Leto. Together the actors and the director's come together to create a masterpiece, that is not only entertaining, but diverting and interesting, with strong story and quick twists, along with fast paced action that is truly astonishing, The Dark knight is truly unmissable My rating : 9.8/10 Contains violence, bad language, and scenes that could frigh...

Batman Begins

BBFC rating 12 Released 2005 After Joel Schumacher's poor attempt at a Batman film, almost killing the franchise, the world needed a welcome reboot, in the form of Batman begins. Christopher Nolan brings an enticing story that focuses on the training of Bruce Wayne in becoming the Bat and helps to connect with the comics it was adapted from. Christian Bale does well to portray the Dark Knight in this masterpiece of a work, going as far as to say, almost one of the best Batman portrayal's ever. It had great villains in the form of scarecrow and Ras Al Ghaul, that made a great entry to the film adaptation, with the supporting cast of Michael Caine and Liam Neeson portraying amazing roles. Defiantly the film we deserved , and after Batman and Robin, the one that was needed. My rating: 9.1 Contains violence and moderate threat Image subject and copyright to Warner brothers pictures limited . I do not own the image.

The Dark Knight returns part 2

Released 2013 The second part to the film adaptation to Frank Miller's epic creation, The Dark Knight returns, and the film fails to disappoint. With everything that people came to expect from a Batman film and more almost giving us the Batman v Superman some would say we never got. Jay Olivia does well to create another riveting watch as we see the return of the classic and well known characters such as Joker and Superman as well as Robin, returning from part 1. Overall it is a very enjoyable end to the series with the action and adventure we saw from the last film with some new twists and plots original to the film. I would highly recommend this film, even if you haven't seen part one, simply because it is as good without it and does prove that the second part is usually the best. My rating: 8.9/10 Contains blood, violence and moderate bad language. image subject and copyright to warner brothers animated pictures limited.

the dark knight returns part 1

Bbfc rating 15 released 2013 Drawn from one of the most respected comics released from dc comics and written by frank miller, comes a great animated action adventure that will stun you with unexpected greatness. The story is very anticipating with well know characters returning to the dc universe after 10 years of Batman supposed retirements. Among those fan favorites are two fave and the commissioner along with new additions to a great story like; a new to in and mutants. With superb voice work by the actors with the addition of a great soundtrack, this I a great movie, not only fo dc fans, but for any teenager into a good action thriller. It is certainly darker than other animated clocks, but honestly it's worth it to get that relalistic atmosphere from the film my rating : 8.4/10 contains blood, bad language and strong violence image subject and copyright to warner brothers animated pictures limited
